Baseball, Golf & Football

So far our family vacation has looked like this:

Sunday afternoon – NH Fishercats game in the luxury box.  Hot Dogs, Chili & the bottomless tub of popcorn!  Great seats in the suite with a balcony view overlooking first base.  Much love to Jim Reidy for the great tickets…

Spent the afternoon with the Cerows and the Fredricksons (family of the kids that Kim watches)  Beautiful day for a baseball game.

Tuesday Evening – Minigolf at Chucksters.  Kim and I brought the girls out for a night of minigolf (some may call it “putt-putt”, but those people would be weird!)  After 18 holes we hit Arnies for some great ice cream.  Note to self: don’t let Makenna get “Dinosaur Crunch” flavor anymore – it turns her face blue!

Wednesday – Headed south to Massachusetts to visit the in-laws.  As our garden has yet to produce any jalepenos I was able to grab a supply from their garden (let the salsa-making begin!).  Later on in the afternoon we left the kids with Grammy & Pepe and Kim and I headed off to Gillette Stadium for the last day of open training camp for the World Champion New England Patriots!

The team looks great this year.  Brady and Moss were no-shows today but we got to see quite a few of the defensive line at work.  Below is a great shot of a formidable defensive line – Harrison(37), Vrabel(50), Brushi(54) & Seau(55).  I’d be shaking in my tight blue pants if I was a wide receiver!

Don’t think I get all excited about stuff like this, but it was very cool…  We had a Bon Jovi sighting!  Yes, right beside Bill Belichick is the one and only Jon Bon Jovi!

To add a little more flavor to this shot I included #49.  This guys a first year player for the Patriots.  They have a little tradition for new guys…  It’s not hazing, it’s haircutting!

Tomorrow looks like rain, so it’ll give us a chance to head over and check out the new Imax theater in Hooksett – stadium seating and all!
